How Much Tuition Do Children Need?

Many parents here send their kids to 1-2 hours tuition a day on average. Is that too little tuition? No, it is not if your kids are catching up well at school. If they are not, then they will need more help.

How do we know if they need more help? Look at their grades. Look at their behavioural reports. Speak to teachers if they think the kids need extra help. Most importantly, kids must want to attend tuition. Don't force them if they are not ready. Look for teachers who are interesting and engaging, who know how to teach effectively for young children, especially those between 6-10 years of age.

There's no too early age for tuition, but we don't see why a 5 year old need extra classes after their kindy hours. Make sure you always meet up with your kid's tuition teachers. It is important that teachers know that parents care and are putting in their time to monitor the progress of their children.
