Why We Love Pasar Tani

Food, glorious food. Fresh food. Cooked food. Finger foods. Fast foods. Delicious foods. This is the reason why we love Pasar Tani.

For anyone who is a regular to Pasar Tani, one would know that this is where some of the best food can be found. Apam balik, sate, traditional kuih, boiled corn, nasi campur, kerepok lekor, kebab and goreng pisang (banana fritters).

 For housewives (and also husbands), this is the place to find all the fruits, vegetables and meat to stock up the fridge for the week. Most Pasar Tani(s) feature fresh produce directly from the farm and some others via the normal supply chain, but the stock is always one of the freshest. Plus, it is only at Pasar Tani that you can find some of the very authentic and traditional fresh food items in abundance - tapioca, petai, jambu air, pisang raja, cempedak and of course, durian!

Prices are very reasonable at Pasar Tani, and stores are neat and vendors typically wear uniform maroon-colored Pasar Tani polo shorts while marque tents of the same color are used to 'roof' the makeshift stalls that appear around 4pm on the days designated for Pasar Tani.
